Zaw Zaw
Zaw Zaw, abducted from his home in Prome, was found hiding in the forest 120 miles away:
"After we were arrested, they interrogated us and let go of anyone who had soldiers in their family. Then they sent us to the front at Tipawicho mountain where we were forced to work for two months without pay. The food was never enough and we were kept under constant guard. We usually had to carry ammunition or rice-bags. One day they ordered two porters to carry some 120mm shells, but they refused. So they killed them. I don't know why. They just beat them with rifle-butts, then they took them away and shot them. That's when I realized I had to escape."
