Summary:

Serious and credible allegations have been made by an official report from the Home Office* that some immigration officials are regularly and easily bribed, permitting human trafficking that results in forms of modern day slavery in Britain, specifically in prostitution rings and brothels.

According to the article from the guardian.co.uk and the report from the Home Office, "45 criminals convicted of trafficking offenses found they regarded illicit entry into this country as 'relatively easy' and that the UK was a place where 'healthy profits' could be made with a 'low risk of detection'."
